Welcome
My name is Richard Maddock and I have accompanied dance classes and exams for over twenty years. I have also played for many RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) courses in Toronto, Canada, and have been Head Pianist at The Pia Bouman School of Dance and Creative Movement for the last nine years.
In addition to my works for dance and theatre productions, I also composed the incidental music for an episode of CTV television’s “W5” programme “Tragedy in the Torngats”. I continue to be inspired by the wonderful work of dancers and vocalists, many of whom have encouraged me to create dance and creative movement recordings with a fresh sound and unique appeal.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all the teachers from around the world who have purchased Ballet Studio Inspirations: Volume 1, and As Creation Unfolds Part One & Part Two. Their enthusiasm and feedback has been so kind and wonderful, which has helped in creating Ballet Studio Inspirations: Volume Two & As Creation Unfolds: Part Three.

Most of all, I am thankful for all the love, support and inspiration of my muse, my soulmate, my best friend, my bride Penny (August 11, 2007), the love of my life. My latest CDs were inspired by her, and without her, none of this would have ever been possible. |
